For over thirty-five years A-S-K Conference Management Group has been producing exceptional experiences. We are a versatile group dedicated to organizing, planning and executing unforgettable special events, meetings, conferences, expositions, and workshops.

A-S-K Conference Management Group is a dynamic, imaginative and innovative business that focuses on client’s specific meeting needs and offers personalized service to each and every client. Our research, attention to detail and industry knowledge assures an extraordinary experience.

Owners Sheila A. Martinez, EdD and Kenneth A. Martinez,  EdD founded A-S-K Associates, Inc. in 1979. Together, they have developed the firm into an award winning Conference & Meeting Planning business. Their commitment to excellence is evidenced throughout their 37 year business history.

HIGHLIGHTS

1979

The Conference Management Group began with a contract with the Indian and Migrant Program Division of Head Start to provide national training workshops and technical assistance. During the early years, A-s-K’s contracted work included conferences for Preventive Services for Children for Region VII HHS/PHS, multi-regional Clinical Management Training Seminars, Dental Leadership and Primary Care Conference, and Nursing Leadership Conferences. Event Planning and meeting support was provided for a series of meetings for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

1998
A-S-K and Baxter Health Care presented a series of Nurses and Patient Care Seminars and a second series for doctors focusing on Pre-ERSD logistics. Intensive Spanish Language Emersion Workshops were conducted for doctors and nurses working with Spanish speaking populations.
1999
A-S-K became the first GSA schedule-holder for Conference, Trade Show and Event Planning. A-S-K’s long-term relationship with the General Services Administration began with the multi-year production of GSA’s National Travel Conferences and FedFleet/FedForums. Under the GSA Schedule, services were provided to numerous agencies such as National Library of Medicine, Environmental Protection Agency (OCEM), Social Security Administration, Federal Highway Commission, USDA/FSA as well as GSA’s Federal Acquisition Conferences, Federal Mail Symposium, FAS/ITS network Services Conference and IMEAC.
2005
A-S-K CMG was awarded a blanket purchase agreement with the US Department of Education for their Federal Student Aid (Training) Conference. This partnership has continued since its inception. A BPA from US Army Corps of Engineers was also added. Another major customer relationship began with the US Army’s Surface Deployment and Distribution Command for annual symposiums. Other event production was done for TRICARE Operations and Patient Administration workshops; both nationally and internationally, Homeland Security’s Federal Wireless User’s Forum, and another series of meetings for the Social Security Administration.
2011

Five annual CAO Forums were completed for the Department of Homeland Security. Skillsoft became our newest corporate customer with the management of two events per year. Various GSA events continued to be produced as well as the Army Library raining Institute, CDC Field Triage Meeting, and GSA FACA Training Conference.

2013
Association Management was added to A-S-K CMG’s list of services that had its beginnings in 2007 with Kansas City-based YouthFriends for their bi-annual National School-Based Mentoring Conferences. Our newest association customer is the Metabolomics Society. Services include elections, membership, website rebuild, working with the Board of Directors and producing the 2016 conference in Dublin, Ireland.
2015
A-S-K’s most recent event with the US Department of Commerce was the USASelect Investment Summit. The event had over 3,000 international participants and was attended by President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Kerry along with other Cabinet Members.
